President Joe Biden will deliver a speech in Phoenix, Arizona. In this speech, he wishes to address matters that pose a threat to American democracy. He will emphasize on the harms and dangers that the “MAGA Movement” is causing.
President Biden’s speech is meant to be a pro-Democratic step ahead of the 2024 Presidential elections. It will count among his efforts to criticize President Donald Trump and his supporters. The nation is expecting the 2024 Presidential election to be a political showdown between the two parties.
Biden’s speech will also mention a tribute to the late Senator John McCain, from the state of Arizona. The Republican Senator passed away in the year 2018. Although they belong from rival political parties, Biden and McCain had maintained a cordial relationship throughout.
Joe Biden will also be talking about what is troubling America, stating that “There is something dangerous happening in America… There is an extremist movement that does not share the basic beliefs of our democracy. The MAGA Movement.”
Biden has also stated that all Republican candidates do not support the “MAGA” agenda. However, he is of the opinion that the current Republican Party is greatly motivated by MAGA extremists.
His speech comes at a very crucial moment when the government is standing on the verge of a shut down. The shutdown is set to be headed by the House Republicans who also support the former President, Donald Trump.
However, Biden’s age and other challenges are a concern among the citizens of the US, as he stands as a Democratic Candidate for the 2024 presidential elections.
