Kevin Spacey, the famous Hollywood actor, has been falsely accused of conducting sex acts on unconscious men, a statement that has been provided to the court during his trial. The twice winner of the Oscar, who is 63 years of age, has been accused of assault of four men in regard to his own sexual gratification between the years 2001 to 2013.
The jurors involved in the trial have heard that the actor acquired fame from “House of Cards” as a “sexual bully.” He has been observed to have felt delighted while making his assault victims feel “uncomfortable and powerless.”
However, in the closing speech of the defense barrister Patrick Gibbs, KC stated that there are three liars in the case. He has also stated, “We do not have the capacity to put electrodes into the brains of the liars and understand what they are thinking.”
The reason behind their lying against the actor can only be understood by them. On the other hand, the reason behind the complaint of the fourth victim of Spacey shows evidence that he is not a liar. But, he is not exactly sober as he describes while providing their statement in court.
The Reason Behind Spacey’s Attorney’s Remarks
The reason behind Spacey’s lawyer stating that the men who have complained against the actor are liars is their absurd statements. One of the victims claims that he had been repeatedly assaulted by Spacey.
Including an occasion when the star drove the man to a Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball AIDS fundraiser in his home in Windsor in the early 2000s. Mr.Gibbs, the defense attorney for Spacey, said that the man who complained about the incident came after 20 years had passed. This is a late allegation, as the man took so many years to speak up to the police. On the other hand, the defense lawyer also has also stated that the evidence that has been presented to the court is “fiction” and has been designed in a way to dramatize the events that went on between the actors and the complainant.
