Last week a United States citizen from Texas was arrested by Federal agents when they threatened to kill a judge for the prosecution case being led against Mr. Donald Trump.
Before that week, Mr. Robertson, a resident of Utah, was killed by FBI agents who went there to arrest him. Mr. Robertson, a Provo resident, had been making death threats against the current President, Joe Biden. He was also making these threats against the district attorney who was fighting the case against Trump.
A month before that, Mr. Adam Bies, who is a resident of Pennsylvania, stood guilty of making threats online against Federal officers of the United States. Mr. Adam was arrested after an armed standoff with FBI agents at his house that took place last August. He is currently in prison, facing 10 years behind bars.
What Is Happening To America?
The national news of the United States has been flooded with stories of nationals being killed or put behind bars for making threats against Federal Agents, the President, and the Attorneys in Trump’s case.
In the previous year alone, federal authorities have pressed more charges against people for making public threats than in any of the previous ten years. These threats had many targets, including elected officials, law enforcement, judicial officers, educators, and healthcare workers
What Do Experts Say?
Experts have voiced their concern about the increasing prevalence of violence and threats in the nation. Ever since Trump’s Mar a Lago incident came into the public eye, there have been a growing number of threats against law enforcement officers.
Meanwhile, Mr. Donald Trump is all set to run again in 2024 as a presidential candidate. He continues to face indictment charges in New York and Georgia. After the Georgia charges were finalized, some right-wing sites were circulating photos and addresses of the Grand Jurors in the charges.
What Does The Federal Law Say?
The federal law of the United States looks into any threats made to federal officials, their families, Federal Agencies, employees, voters, and witnesses of cases.
